Hi, I'm Opal Auda Love, a professional freelance writer and editor
with countless interests who enjoys working on a vast and diverse array of topics. Having dreamed of
becoming a writer since childhood, I recently made the decision to become an online freelance writer and editor. I've begun
publishing content online, with samples listed by topic in the navigation bar and am looking forward to writing
many more pieces in a variety of industries to add to my portfolio.
An English major with Journalism and Psychology as secondary areas
of concentration, I've attended two universities and maintained a 3.8 GPA with 75 credit hours as well as being nominated
for Who's Who in America, Sigma Tau Delta, and editor of a scholastic newspaper. I'm a former member of a group called
The Writer's Roundtable where I wrote for a scholastic creative writing magazine entitled Pensworth, and
am a published poet. I also had the honor of being rated in the top 1% of the nation in English my junior year in college.
With an unquenchable thirst for learning, I have a passion
for acquiring knowledge as I research for writing projects, both in areas in which I am familiar as well as those
in which I am not.
A proud mother of four grown children and grandmother to six
lovely grandchildren, with a great-grandchild on the way, I am married and live in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains
with my husband in the beautiful state of Kentucky.
